Honea Path – Charles Ansel Bell Sr., 77, widower of Betty Ann McClain Bell, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015 at his home.
Born in Anderson County he was a son of the late Willie James and Lillie Mae Motes Bell. He was of the Baptist Faith and was retired after 33 years from the South Carolina Army National Guard.
Surviving are two sons, Willie Bill Bell and Charles Ansel Bell, Jr. both of Honea Path, a daughter Yvonne Giese of Murray, Ky., a brother Sammy Bell, two sisters, Nora Davis and Ethel Malone, caregiver, Michelle Thomas of Honea Path, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by four brothers, Bill, John, Harold, and Gene Bell and a sister Lula Mae Vaughn.
Funeral services will be held at 6 PM Friday, February 13, 2015 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Shuler officiating.
