Ware Shoals – Lillian Knight Tumblin, 100, widow of Fred Wesley Tumblin, of 16951 Hwy 25, died Friday, October 31, 2014 at Laurens County Hospice.

 

 

Born in Laurens County, she was the daughter of the late William Cleveland and Allie Davis Knight. She was a member of Princeton Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Surviving are: a grandson, John Robert (Nancy) Turpin of Easley, and two great-grandchildren, Elijah and Allie Turpin.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Joyce Turpin and two brothers, Bill and Capers Knight.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Princeton Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Gregg Loner and Rev. Wayne Garmon officiating.
