Louise Boyce

Honea Path –Louise Cannon Boyce, widow of Marion O. “Bo” Boyce, Jr., of 209 Lola Lane, died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Clara Milford Cannon. She was a member of Honea Path First Baptist Church, where she served as secretary of the youth department. She was retired from Abbeville First Baptist Church, where she served as church secretary for over 35 years.

Surviving are: a son, Jason O. Boyce of Honea Path, a daughter, Marion Elizabeth “Beth” Boyce of Belton, a sister, Julie Cook of Columbia, two grandchildren, Samantha and Sabrina Brown and one great-granddaughter, Gabriella Ricketts.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2014at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Moody officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1:30 - 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
