William "Bill" Ray Moss, Sr.

Honea Path – William Ray “Bill” Moss, Sr. 79, of 1025 Will Hanks Road, died Sunday, May 25, 2014 at AnMed Health Center.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Donald and Mallie Cooley Moss. He attended Honea Path Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was retired from ACH Food Brokers. Bill was an avid golfer and member of Pine Lake Golf Club.

Surviving are: a son, William Ray (Peggy) Moss, Jr. of Honea Path, two sisters, Ella Ramsey and Glenda Gilmer, both of Honea Path, two grandchildren, Erika (John) Scott and Stacie Moss, and two great-grandchildren, Ansley and Colton Scott. He was predeceased by his daughter, Chelsea Moss, three brothers, Charlie, Jim, and Clyde Moss, and a sister, Martha Holland.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at Eastview cemetery with Rev. Shane Elrod and Rev. Ron Peck officiating.
