Carolyn Madden

Ware Shoals – Carolyn Jeanette Buff Madden, 62, wife of Roger Dale Madden, Sr. of 11427 Indian Mound Rd, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Hospice of the Piedmont.

Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of Lunette Smith Gibson and the late Lucius Mitchell Buff. She was of the Baptist faith and had formerly worked for Riegel Textile Corp.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home and mother of Ware Shoals are: a daughter, Beverly Irby Bush of the home, a step-son, Roger Dale Madden, Jr., of Honea Path, two brothers, Charles Michael Buff of Greenwood and Louis Walter Buff of Ware Shoals, a grandson, Trevor Dale Madden, and her special puppies, Sissy and Sassy. She was predeceased by a sister, Kathryn Delores Beasley.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Mabry and Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
