Guynell Gambrell

Honea Path – Guynell Snow Gambrell, 83, wife of Dewey William Gambrell, of 1617 Taylor Rd, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Julius Guy and Marie Jones Snow. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are: two sons, Buddy Hughes and wife Brenda and Ricky Hughes and wife Frances, both of Anderson, a brother, Rolly Snow and wife Brenda of Anderson, a sister, Mertis Fountain and husband Wendall of Anderson, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and special friends, David and Johnny King. She was predeceased by two sons, Billy and Jackie Hughes, a brother, Wansley Snow,and a grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. JB Davis, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview cemetery.
