Ware Shoals – Mary Lenora Johnson Keil, 97 formerly of Indian Mound Road, widow of William (Bill) Keil, died June 10, 2013 at NHC of Greenwood.

Born near Hodges she was a daughter of the late Franklin Paul Johnson and Donnie McLean Johnson. She lived in Chicago, IL with her husband Bill before retiring to Ware Shoals in 1979. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ware Shoals where she served in Christian Education and the Ladies Bible Class for many years.

She was preceded in death by three brothers; Henry Johnson, William (Bill) Johnson and Paul Johnson and one sister; Robena Johnson O’Dell. Surviving are nieces and nephews from both sides of the family.

Services will be 2 P.M. Wednesday at the Mausoleum Chapel of Oakbrook Memorial Park with Rev. Wayne Wicker officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum. Family members will receive friends from 1-2 PM at the Mausoleum Chapel. The family is at their respective homes. The family respectfully request flowers be omitted and memorials made to the Mary Keil fund at Parker-White Funeral Home, PO Box 242, Ware Shoals, SC 29692.
