Gerald Davis
Ware Shoals – Gerald Roscoe Davis, 71 of 4709 Poplar Springs Road, husband of Alice Medlin Davis died Saturday at Hospice Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood.
Born in Laurens county, he was a son of the late Grover Davis and Helen Lothridge Davis. He was retired from Laurens Glass, was a veteran of the US Marines and was a member of the Brewerton Lodge #183 A.F.M.
Surviving are his wife of the home, one son; Michael Davis of Gray Court, one daughter; Tonia LaJuan Medlin of Clinton, three grandchildren; Kayla Lawson, Eddie Medlin and Summer Overstreet, two great-grandchildren; Caydence Lawson and Ryleigh Lawson. He was predeceased by a brother; Everett Wayne Davis and sister; Helen Joyce Kaiser.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Tuesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Lonnie Jones. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Parker-White Funeral Home.
