Donalds – Francis Lee Andrews, 85, of Donalds, S.C., entered into eternal rest on May 12, 2013 at Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Gladys Johnson Andrews Lee and William F. Andrews. He was a member of Donalds Baptist Church, and was retired from the U.S. Air Force and had also owned a body shop in Summerville, S.C. for several years before retiring to Donalds in 1984.

Lee is pre-deceased by his wife Mary Jean Mitchell Andrews, his mother, Gladys Johnson Andrews Lee, his father, William F. Andrews, and his step-father, Dean Lee.

Surviving are two daughters, Martha Andrews Phillips and husband Edward Phillips of Honea Path, and Bonnie Andrews Hellams of Charlotte, N.C., a son, William (Bill) Andrews and wife Debra Darby Andrews of Donalds, a sister, Billie Jean Devore of Donalds, and five grandchildren, Robert Hellams and his wife Virginia, Chris Andrews and his wife Jessica, Brandy Finch and her husband Adam, Katie Hellams, and Amy Andrews, three great-grandchildren, Will Finch, Andrew Hellams, and John Hellams.

Funeral services will be held at 3P.M. on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Donalds Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Sturkie officiating. Burial will follow in Barkers Creek Baptist Church cemetery, Honea Path.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 P.M. on Monday at Donalds Baptist Church prior to the service. The family will be at the home in Donalds.
