Honea Path – Charles Alton Boland, 73, of Honea Path, husband of Ernestine Ashley Boland died early Tuesday morning, October 2, 2012 at Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late S. A. and Frances Boland.  He was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of the home and a brother, Ray Boland.  He was predeceased by two brothers, Bobby Boland and his twin Charlie Rabon Boland.

Funeral services will be held at 3PM Thursday at Chiquola Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating.  Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 PM prior to the service at Chiquola Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chiquola Baptist Church Building Fund, 405 East Greer Street, Honea Path, SC 29654, Master’s Mission, PO Box 388, Ware Shoals, SC  29692 or Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC  29625.  The family is at the home.
