Patricia Pitts

Honea Path – Patricia Ann Dodson Pitts, 65, wife of Jimmy Pitts, of 406 Saluda St., died Wednesday March 28, 2012 at Miami University Hospital.

Born in Independence, KS., she was a daughter of the late George Frank and Melba Corrine Tucker Dodson. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and was employed by Wallmart of Anderson.

Surviving are her husband of the home; two sons, Malcombe Dodson Pitts of Vienna, Ga., and Christopher Scott Pitts of Greenwood; two daughters, Jamie Ann Durham and Karmin Leigh Reeves, both of Honea Path; five sisters, Melba Jo Dodds of Enterprise, KS., Saundra Ray Baer of Paxico, KS., Janice Kay Roberts of Topeka, KS., Marsha June Green of Hollister, MO, and Dianne Rene Dahl of Port Charlotte, FL.; thirteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a brother, George Frank Dodson, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday at Chiquola Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Powell and Rev. Brad Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
