Tommie McClain

Honea Path – Freddie Tommie McClain, 61, husband of Loretta Cromer McClain, of 216 Brock Circle, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at his home.

 Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Welton and Kathleen Stone McClain.  He was a member of Crossroads Fellowship Church and was formerly employed by Furman Mills.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are:  one son, Thomas “Hutch” McClain of Greenville; one daughter, Toni Gilmer of Abbeville; one sister, Martha McClain of Donalds and three grandchildren.   He was predeceased by two brothers, Carroll and Billy McClain.

Funeral Services will be held at 4 PM Thursday at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Hall and Rev. Carroll Plemmons officiating.  The body will be placed in the church at 2PM.  Burial to follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
