Grace Smith Coleman Barnell

Honea Path – Grace Frances Smith Coleman Barnell, 83, widow of Robert Barnell, of 209 Goodrich Street, died Thursday August 18, 2011 at Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Ziffie and Faye Shope Smith. She was a member of Chiquola United Methodist Church and was retired from Belton Corporation. 

Surviving are two sons; Ronald Coleman and wife Debbie of Honea Path and Dwayne Coleman and wife Rosemary of White Springs Florida; one daughter, Delores Richey and husband Tommy “Freck” of Honea Path; one brother, Aubrey Smith of Honea Path; three sisters, Allie Ashley of Honea Path, Lillie Truelove of Donalds, and Sherron Coleman of Rock Hill; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by one brother, Clifford “Chick” Smith, and one grandchild, Kristie Ward.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 2PM, on what would have been Mr. and Mrs. Barnell’s 48^th wedding anniversary, at Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Slatten and Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating. Burial to follow in Garden of Memories.
